Looking Ahead to Next Year's Employment Service (ES)?
This seasonal service assists sociologists and prospective employers by providing convenient opportunities for registered interviewers and job seekers to meet in a neutral, monitored environment for initial short interviews during the ASA Annual Meeting.
One essential feature of this online service is an interactive calendar function which permits candidates to convey expressions of interest in positions and allows interviewers to schedule specific appointments. All interviews are conducted on-site at tables in the official Interview Room area.
Hours of Operation
The 2012 Employment Service will be open at the Denver Convention Center in Denver, Colorado, from Thursday afternoon to mid-day Monday, August 16-20, 2012.

Registering for the Annual Meeting
Online general meeting registration is open to ASA members from October 18, 2011, to July 11, 2012. Candidates who preregister before May 1st may add the Employment Service to their registrations from May 1 until July 11. OnSite registration opens in Denver on August 16, 2012.
